Lumetrix offers the large selection of calibrated imaging photometers covering various resolutions and formats to optimally fit your application and budget.

All systems employ our unique electronic bracketing technology, Lumetrix's imaging systems offer unrivaled image fidelity, measurement accuracy and ease of use.

The Smart Series and A-Series photometers feature high performance progressive scan CCDs with the following advantages:

  • Extensive Calibration

    • Various iris, zoom and focus settings

    • A multitude of exposure times: from a few milliseconds to a few seconds or more

  • Low smear effect

    • Allows smear artifact free images even at short exposures of a few milliseconds

  • Excellent anti-blooming protection

  • Negligible exposure timing error (<5ns) versus 10's of milliseconds for mechanical shutters

  • Wider dynamic range

    • No need for mechanical density filters (for most applications). Density filters add filtering and imaging errors.

  • Faster measurements

  • More uniform and defect free pixels than typical full frame imagers

Two interactive software packages RT32 and Photometrica are available. For automated applications, LabView and automation drivers are also available.

With our imaging photometer systems any of the following calibrated measurements can be acquired and analyzed:

  • Luminance (cd/m2 or ftL)
  • Transmittance & Reflectance (%)
  • Source Luminous Intensity (cd)
  • Beam Pattern Luminous Intensity (cd)
  • Illuminance (lux)
